Gas Turbine Exchange Program (KG2) (Short Engine)
Dresser-Rand AS Kongsberg, Norway, has the opportunity to offer all customers an
Exchange Agreement program.
Dresser-Rand delivers the Exchange Gas Turbine to the customer suitably packed for
transport, complete with packing case/engine stand. The customer returns its Gas Turbine
to Dresser-Rand factory, complete with the same packing case/engine stand.
This program is particularly attractive to reduce turn-around time and down time of the
unit, therefore increasing the availability of the power station.
Short Engine is defined as follows:
Turbine without combustor top, outer flametube, gearbox and accessories, but with
complete pick-up bracket. D-R will in addition deliver the necessary hardware to install
the short turbine such as nuts, bolts, gaskets, etc.
