This two-day, classroom-based course has been designed specifically
for operators of steam turbines. Generic in nature, this course is intended to familiarize operators with major components
that comprise a steam turbine, and will offer insight into steam turbine theory as it relates to operational issues. Topics to be covered include: types of steam turbines and their applications;
typical auxiliary systems; turbine controls and governors; basic maintenance practices; and overspeed systems. The course will conclude with an interactive troubleshooting session designed to help operators identify possible causes of typical
