- We provide suggestions on the parts (and quantities) you should have
on hand to help maximize equipment availability
Having the right parts on hand during an overhaul can be critical to
successful and timely completion of the project. Dresser-Rand’s
Warehouse on Wheels program is available to assist you.
- Client and Dresser-Rand mutually select
parts when preplanning the overhaul
- Parts consist of those normally stocked
by Dresser-Rand and selected non-stock parts unique to the specific
installation
- Parts are stored during the overhaul in
a Dresser-Rand container at the job site
- Any normally stocked parts not consumed
can be returned to Dresser-Rand without a restocking fee. Any unused
non-stock parts are kept by purchaser as spares
Benefits include:
- Parts can be stored where the work is
being performed; costly and time-consuming delays due to spare parts
availability can be virtually eliminated
- Marginal parts are easily replaced,
reducing the chances of future unscheduled shutdowns
- Minimizes increase in client inventory
at the end of the overhaul
