The
HSE is a rugged, process gas, reciprocating compressor designed
conservatively in accordance with API-618 for maximum longevity. It is a two
throw frame that can be used for multiple applications. This
machine has been designed for maximum reliability and ease of maintenance.

journals and crankpins

Balance-opposed frame design to minimize

Stainless steel piping and tubing for
frame and running gear lubrication
Die-forged steel connecting rods with
rifle-drilled passages
Cast iron crosshead with replaceable
aluminum shoes; crosshead also available in nodular iron with
shim-adjustable shoes
Frame inspection openings with steel
covers
Crankshaft-driven gear-type frame
lubricating oil pump
Available with a full lineup of cylinders
to handle all applications and pressures
Available cylinder materials include: Cast
Iron, Nodular Iron, Forged Steel, and Stainless Steel
Frame-mounted oil level gauge, oil
pressure gauge, and oil pressure shutdown switch
Dresser-Rand valves, unloaders, and
clearance pockets
Crankshaft-driven cylinder lubricator
Available with V-belt drive, gear drive,
and direct-drive configuration
System
Integration
In addition to supplying the compressor,
Dresser-Rand offers a complete array of accessories and services necessary
to meet installation requirements. Some of these advantages are:
- A frame lube oil console in accordance
with API 618 Figure G-5 to include full flow, 10 micron cartridge type
dual oil filters, oil cooler, and auxiliary motor driven pre-lube oil
pump
- Cylinder coolant console in accordance
with API 618 Figure G-1

- Distance piece vent and purge systems
- Condition monitoring systems
- Digital pulsation analysis of the
compressor, bottles, and piping system including cylinder gas passages
